Experience

Cayla started writing about plants in January 2020. As part of her internship at Old Salem Museums & Gardens, she researched the heritage and heirloom plant species grown at the gardens. Following her graduation, she began writing and editing gardening and plant care articles for HappySprout, building an expansive portfolio over five years.

Cayla has a bachelor's degree in creative writing from Salem College.
