Kathy is a versatile wordsmith who got her start as a writer and editor at a mid-sized newspaper. As a writer, she enjoys exploring the spaces where beauty, nature, peace, and creativity intersect. When she's not writing, she can be found paddle boarding, hiking, or searching for migrating birds. She has written for Atlas Obscura, Eater, The Associated Press, and countless other publications.
