Marta joined Static Media in 2019, first as a writer for Nicki Swift and then expanding her work to The List, Looper, Grunge, and /Film. Prior to becoming the lead editor at Outdoor Guide, she also worked as a staff editor at Nicki Swift and The List. She has been writing since high school and was chosen as one of the 30 student interns to participate in CBC's News Day in 2009. There, she was tasked with researching, writing, and filming stories for broadcast. After launching her blog, Paradise Playground, in 2015, Marta turned to freelance writing, where she's written for publications such as Little White Lies, Localeur, Gusher, and Sister Magazine.

Education

Marta studied English at Langara College in Vancouver, Canada. She continued her education at the Blanche Macdonald Centre, where she received a diploma in global fashion marketing with a focus on fashion history.
